The motors are 20% more powerful, supporting cameras like the Blackmagic Pocket 6K, Canon 1D X Mark III, Sony a7S III, and ALEXA Mini LF. Enhanced Control with LCD Touchscreen: The RS 2 features a 1.4-inch full-color LCD touchscreen, allowing access to gimbal settings and features such as time-lapse and hyper-lapse, which were previously accessible only via the companion mobile app.

Advanced Stabilization with DJI Titan Algorithm: Using the DJI Titan stabilization algorithm, the RS 2 offers improved stabilization with increased smoothness. In applications with up to 100mm zoom lenses, the SuperSmooth feature complements the algorithm by compensating for micromovements and increasing torque for fluid motion (optional lens support required).

For social media content, the camera can be positioned into portrait mode with a tap. The gimbal has an axis lock on each axis for efficient balancing and a fine-tune balancing knob for optimal camera balance.

Long Battery Life and Fast Charging:The gimbal runs up to 12 hours on a battery cartridge that secures the grip handle. The cartridge is easily swappable and rechargeable via a USB Type-C port. The BG30 grip supports 24W fast charging, fully recharging in about 1.5 hours. DJI recommends using a 24W charger (not included).

Included Carry Case and Tripod: The RS 2 comes with a splash-proof carry case with dedicated compartments for the gimbal parts and key accessories. A mini tripod is included, attaching to a 1/4″-20 thread on the grip handle’s bottom, functioning as a stand or an extension handle for two-handed maneuvering.
